Celebrations Everybody likes to celebrate a special event. Celebrations are a chance to get together with friends and family to mark a special occasion in your life. The staff at the May & Baker Sports and Social Club are here to ensure that the worry is taken out of such an event. Once you book our facilities our team of staff work on ensuring that all you have to do on the day is turn up and enjoy yourself. We can cater for a wide range of occasions, whether you are celebrating a marriage, birthday, anniversary or just want a get together, the May & Baker Sports social Club Systems Sports & Social Club is just the place for you. Parties The May & Baker Sports and Social Club has the facilities to make your party a success. With our Chase Lounge Function hall we can cater to suit all needs, whether you are having a large gathering or a quiet affair, we can cater for: Birthdays, Engagements, Weddings, Anniversaries, Retirements, Leaving Parties or any other celebration you wish to have We can cater for finger and fork buffets or sit down meals and our versatile seating arrangements ensure that whatever you are celebrating, you can do it in comfort. Our staff are already well experienced in organising parties so you can be sure that you are in safe hands. Whether you require a small family party or a lavish affair, we are just the venue for you. The M & B Club now has its own in house DJ's at a very reasonable price. Details of other entertainment agencies/Dj's used by the club are available on request. Weddings The May & Baker Sports and Social Club has been organising wedding receptions since June 1979 and already has a good reputation for catering for weddings of all sizes. Whether you wish a sit down meal for 75 followed by an evening reception or a more personal smaller affair, our staff will ensure that your every need is taken care of. We can arrange meetings to discuss your requirements at a time of your convenience and with the experience we have already gained, we will strive to take care of all of your arrangements as well as highlighting areas you may not have thought about. Our on site catering team can produce an extensive array of dishes to suit your taste and our management staff will be on hand to ensure that your day goes smoothly for what will be the happiest day of your life. We have recently changed the format of our menus to show individual prices on each dish for each course. This allows you to plan your meal in line with any budget you may have.
